It's sometimes hard to find a crew spot but boats are always looking. This forum will be a great place when it gets up and going. I would also email firstname.lastname@example.org and let them know you're interested in crewing (if you haven't already).
We're entering our 23 ft hood for the first time in the races tomorrow night (she is by no means a super yacht) - we do have a regular crew but they aren't going to be able to make every Friday night. So we could keep your name handy if its something you're interested in.
I've just recently joined the club for twilight racing. Being very new to everything sailing, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do to be a crew member?
Do I just turn up on Friday afternoon at around 5pm?
A friend would also like to join twilight, but she has had no experience, so can she turn up on Friday too for a one time trial?
Thanks very much for your help
Hi and welcome to the club! in addition to what Ben has already said, please post your and your friend's details in the "Find a boat" section on the forum. A lot of boats are looking for crew (even total novices), especially on Fridays, and it makes it easier for everyone when your info is readily available for everyone to see.
